ANCON Building Group Inc., a design/build general contracting firm, presents this profile of preferred construction, builder experience and references.

Construction projects solicited include concrete tilt-up, single and low/mid-rise multi-story steel structures, masonry and pre-engineered buildings. The past 24 years has created a group of established vendors and subcontractors who support our goals. This teamwork produces prompt service, value, responsible workmanship with attention to detail. Our leading building goal is dedication to excellence, uncompromised by average.

Steel frame systems are preferred for low/mid-rise multi-story projects. Using steel components and concrete floors produces excellent soundproofing and diaphragm at each level. Steel offers longevity, low fire hazard, unequalled seismic resistance and creates large open space.

Concrete tilt-up buildings traditionally cast the wall panels onsite. Decorative concrete walls reflect upscale business identification, provide inherent fire protection and prevent impact damage for industrial owners. Building departments routinely approve and support concrete buildings in commercial/industrial park developments. Concrete buildings alternately use standing seam roofing, with uncontested durability and weather tight performance. This roofing system offers a "no dollar limit" 20 year weather tight warranty. A system confidently recommended over built-up roofing. Standing seam has a 28 year life cycle compared to 12 years for the single ply built-up roof. Many steel roofs perform well beyond 28 years.

Limited projects require pre-engineered buildings. Wall systems can include architectural metal, masonry coated panels, conventional stucco, masonry block, precast concrete and insulated foam core panels. Twenty year weather tight warranties are also available with standing seam roofing. Many metal panels can be curved to generate rounded corners, curved roof lines, rolled metal archways, etc. Historically, pre-engineered buildings are used for heavy industrial and aircraft hangar applications, where large clear span space is required with minimal investment. However, they can be used freely in commercial projects, where wall systems adhere to building department design guidelines. Metal building's clear span ability, ranges up to 400' and greater if required.

ANCON Building Groups specialized construction includes shopping strip malls, low/mid-rise office buildings, tenant improvements, parking structures, aircraft hangars, boat storage, covered motor home storage, mini-storage, structural steel for multi-story low/mid-rise buildings, mezzanines, bridge cranes and nationwide metal building distribution.

ANCON Building Group, Inc. furnishes metal buildings under our own name, which is commonly known as Private Label. This simply means we contract with several different manufacturers for the buildings components according to the design developed by our engineer. This supports our ability to maintain critical schedules instead of relying on only one manufacturer's scheduling. Common building accessories include mezzanines, space frames, steel joist, metal decking, stairs, handrails, guardrails, equipment support frames, entrance canopies, aircraft hangar doors, steel rail, radius beams and most any other structural steel shape. By controlling all phases of engineering in house, this virtually eliminates interface errors which occur when multiple unrelated steel subcontractors and engineers are involved.
